A tourist attraction offering hot coffee and incredible photo opportunities is gaining popularity in China.
Gushi Cliff Coffee, a café in southeastern China’s Fujian Province, opened in 2024 and is gradually becoming a popular destination among tourists. It is located on a cliff approximately 70 meters above sea level in a village of the same name.
To reach the café, visitors must walk along a trail for about 30 minutes with a guide and pay approximately 400 yuan to enjoy a hot drink and beautiful views while sitting on a bench attached to a mountainside.
The price includes a choice of coffee or tea, a light snack and safety harness equipment.
According to the café’s owners, the location attracts around 50 tourists per day on weekdays and many more on weekends.
Gushi Cliff Coffee can be reached from Kazakhstan with a transfer in Beijing, Shanghai or Guangzhou. First, fly from Almaty or Astana to Fuzhou (approximately 8 to 12 hours). The cheapest tickets start at $640 from Almaty and around $805 from Astana. Then take a train or bus to Gushi Village.
