Freedom Holding subsidiary secures a license in Abu Dhabi

Freedom Broker Global Markets, a subsidiary of Freedom Holding Corp., has received a license to conduct brokerage and related activities in Abu Dhabi. The license issued by the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), the emirate’s international financial center and regulator, strengthens Freedom Holding Corp.’s strategic presence in one of the world’s key financial hubs.

According to Vladimir Pochekuev, partner and head of Freedom Finance Middle East & South Caucasus, the license represents a strong vote of confidence from one of the world’s most respected financial jurisdictions.

«We view our presence in the UAE not merely as a business expansion, but as a long-term strategy focused on developing the country’s financial ecosystem. We intend to achieve this by applying the holding’s expertise in building a transparent and mature capital market,» he said.

The UAE is widely recognized for its rapidly expanding financial infrastructure, adherence to international regulatory standards, transparent legal framework and strong appeal to global investors. Under the ADGM license, Freedom Broker Global Markets is authorized to conduct brokerage operations, provide custody and asset management services, offer investment advisory services and facilitate transactions. This broad scope of permitted activities enables the company to deliver comprehensive investment services while also contributing to the development of the local capital market.

Freedom Broker Global Markets Ltd. is a legal entity registered in Abu Dhabi. It operates as a subsidiary of Freedom Holding Corp. (FRHC), a major international financial and investment holding company whose shares are traded on Nasdaq.

According to Freedom Holding Corp.’s financial statements for the second quarter of fiscal year 2026, which ended on Sept. 30, 2025, the company generated revenue of $1.06 billion in the first six months of the fiscal year, including $526.1 million in the second quarter alone. Net profit for the first half of the year totaled $69.1 million, while profit before tax reached $101 million.
